아무도 답을 찾지 못한 물음 인간의 존재 이유는 무엇인가? 우리는 무엇을 위해 살아가는가? 뉴질랜드에서 바닷물에 잠긴 해초들을 본 순간 깨달았다. 그냥 사는 거구나 해초들은 바닷물에 일정한 주기로 잠길 것이고, 햇빛을 받고 물살에 일렁이며 그 자리에 존재한다. 미래를 알 수 없는 불안감 속에서 내가 할 수 있는 것은 지금까지 그래왔듯이 어디로 갈지 모르는 물살에 몸을 맡기고 흘러가며 최선을 다해 살아가는 것 불확실함이 있기에, 언젠가는 끝이 오기에 인생이 유의미하고 아름답다.

A question that no one has found the answer- What is the reason for human existence? What do we live for? The moment I saw seaweed soaked in the sea in New Zealand, I realized. We just live. Seaweed submerged in seawater at regular intervals and sway by the sun and waves. What I can do in the midst of uncertainty about the future is to leave myself to the flow of water and do my best. Life is meaningful and beautiful because there is uncertainty and the end will come someday.
